AI agent
An AI agent is software that takes actions toward a goal instead of only answering questions; in Squad, every action passes approvals, consent checks and receipts.
Squad's AI employees are agents: they read your systems, draft work and, with your OK, act in your tools — through a connector, the system's API, an isolated browser session, or a guided step for you. Outward actions wait for your approval by default, people are contacted only with recorded consent, and every claimed result is checked against a receipt.
