Honest stop
An honest stop is what Squad does when something is missing: it stops and says what it tried, what is missing and the next step.
Instead of guessing or reporting half-done work as done, Squad names the gap — an endpoint, a file, a permission. For example, if product costs aren't in your store, the Pricing Analyst stops and asks for them rather than estimating margin. The next step is usually one action for you.
