Build a personal brand that posts only what you approve

For founders and creators: a small AI team learns your voice, drafts LinkedIn posts you approve, and measures followers or subscribers read from the platform.

In short

  • A Content Lead, an Editor and a Brand Guardian learn your voice from what you've already written and said.
  • They draft LinkedIn posts that are published to your feed only after you approve them, and read your X, YouTube and Instagram numbers.
  • Success is one number — followers or subscribers — read from the platform, and you always keep the final word.

For founders and creators, Squad sets up a small team — a Content Lead, an Editor and a Brand Guardian — that learns your voice from what you’ve already written, drafts LinkedIn posts, and publishes them to your feed only after you approve. Growth is measured by one number, followers or subscribers, read straight from the platform.

Why a team instead of a writing tool?

Writing the post is rarely the hard part. The hard part is doing it every week, staying on topics that build the reputation you want, and knowing whether any of it is working. A writing tool gives you text. A small team plans, drafts, checks the draft against your voice, and tells you what the numbers say.

What does a normal week look like?

The team plans the week’s posts from your approved plan and the topics in your voice notes. Drafts arrive in “Waiting on you”, one decision card at a time, or in your Morning Brief if you’ve set one up. You approve, edit or reject each one, and approved posts go to your LinkedIn feed. At the end of the period, the report shows what was published, with receipts, and where your number stands against the target.

Your time goes into the part only you can do: saying yes, saying no, and adding the story or opinion that makes a post yours.

What do you need before you start?

  • LinkedIn. Squad can publish posts to your feed — only with your approval.
  • Optionally, your other channels. X (Squad reads; posts wait for approval), YouTube (read-only) and Instagram.
  • Your material. Past posts, your website, talks or interviews you’ve given, a few notes on what you want to be known for.

How does it work, step by step?

  1. Connect your platforms. The team reads what you’ve published and how it performed.
  2. Confirm your voice notes. The Brand Guardian writes up how you sound: words you use, words you’d never use, topics you own, topics you avoid. You correct and confirm. These become rules the team works within.
  3. Pick one number. For example, LinkedIn followers or YouTube subscribers, read from the platform, with a target and a window of 30 to 90 days.
  4. Ask Squad for initiatives. Ask Squad suggests two or three approaches grounded in what has worked for you so far, each with the reason, expected impact, credit range and weeks.
  5. Review drafts. The Content Lead plans, the Editor tightens, the Brand Guardian checks each draft against your voice notes. You approve, edit, or reject with a note.
  6. Let Squad adapt. If the number doesn’t move, Squad looks at each initiative and replaces only the one that isn’t working.

What stays in your hands?

The final word, always. Nothing is posted in your name without your approval. Topics, opinions and stories are yours: the team drafts from your material and asks when it needs something it doesn’t have. It doesn’t invent experiences or claims for you.

Rejecting with a note is the fastest way to teach the team. “Too formal.” “I’d never say that about competitors.” “Shorter.” The note becomes part of what the team works from, so the same mistake isn’t repeated.

How do you know it worked?

The receipt. The report lists every post LinkedIn actually accepted. A post with no receipt from the platform is marked “needs your check”, not “published”.

The number. Followers or subscribers, read from the platform, against your target and date. You can add a guardrail metric — for example, average engagement per post must not drop below where it is today — so growth doesn’t come from posting more and saying less.

Where it stops

  • No posting without approval. LinkedIn and X posts wait for you.
  • No uploads to YouTube. That connection is read-only.
  • No made-up stories. If a draft needs an example from your life or work, the team asks you for it.
  • No promised growth. The team works toward the target you set and reports what the platform reads back.

Questions

Will posts go out in my name without me seeing them?

No. LinkedIn posts are published to your feed only with your approval, and posts on X wait for approval too.

How does the team learn my voice?

It reads your existing posts, your website and other material you share, and writes up voice notes you confirm. Rejecting a draft with a note teaches it more.

Can Squad upload my YouTube videos?

No. The YouTube connection is read-only: Squad reads your channel's numbers to inform the plan and to measure the outcome.
